MAGRAY Gallery represents photography by Miami based German/American photographer Marc Schmidt. He had his first publication in a German news magazine about the Ruanda refugee catastrophe in 1994 while working as a doctor in refugee camps in Zaire. Leaving medicine, he founded Mount Ray Studios in Hamburg and CU-1 Gallery in Miami and documented numerous trips around the world. He has worked as a BTS photographer at numerous movie sets and has been capturing the last ten years of his life in Miami in Award winning documentaries and several exhibitions. He is winner of the MSPF Leica Street Photography Award 2015.
