Marc Schmidt is a German/American photographer based in Miami. He had his first publication in a German news magazine about the Ruanda refugee catastrophe in 1994 while working as a doctor in refugee camps in Zaire. Leaving medicine, he founded Mount Ray Studios in Hamburg and CU-1 Gallery in Miami and documented numerous trips around the world. He had several exhibitions and is winner of the MSPF Leica Street Photography Award 2015.
